Drawn from Photos or Life

I like to work from life, but drawing from a photo works just as well.  Multiple photos help me capture personality better, though.

I will email a jpeg proof before I mail the finished product for your approval to make sure you like you're black and white portrait.  I always focus on the good points -- you'll be happy about how you or your loved one looks!

I will supply portrait orders in the order I receive them, so be sure to order soon to get yours quickly!

Black and White Realistic Portraits in Pencil or Ink

I have produced literally hundreds of pencil and ink portraits working at fairs and festivals.  I've learned how to capture a person's personality in just a few lines.

Black and White Caricatures

I am a former Hanna-Barberra layout artist so you can be sure you will get a pro-quality cartoon portrait if that is your preference.

Though I'm a former layout designer for the big animation studios like Hanna Barberra and Marvel Comics, most folks tend to like my realistic sketches of their faces the best. I can and do create cartoon-type carciatures when asked, and they're always a lot of fun.

Contact me to do sketches and/or cartoons from life on site.  Prices vary, but fall in the $10-30 range.

I can also do hand drawn sketches and caricatures from favorite photos, sometimes even combining photos.  If you want one from a photo, it is best to send a number of photos that show the subject at several different angles so that I interpret the photo best.

Caricatures & Street Portraits for Festivals, Parties & Special Events

I also do full color traditional or non-traditional portraits in watercolor and oil pastel. And the video-game set will love my Sci-Fi and Fantasy Portraits!  >Click here to learn more.
