Talk/Presentation on Improv

What is needed for the presentation: nothing, your audience

Facilitiy:  A room large enough to accommodate the number of participants to move around freely; chairs for all, a podium or small table and chair for the leader.  Small staging area.

What the Participants Need:

A basic goal to have fun and enjoy your fellow players

What Happens in the Presentation

•I.(Rebecca) introduce myself and give a general talk on what improv is and why and how I got into it.

•I state the benefits of participation and outline the basic rules of improv

•Members introduce themselves to the rest of the group

•I select 'helpers' from the group and demonstrate various fun, easy exercises

•I lead  a small group of volunteers in some more elaborate theatre games

On conclusion of the demo, I have a Q & A session and pass out cards to any who might wish to pursue an improv workshop with me.
