Illustration
 Illustration Design and Execution is a highly custom process. I have a broad range of styles: from complex realistic images to simple line cartoons. My process for producing illustrations goes like this:
1. Establish the look and feel desired by the author by looking at my own or other artist's samples: realistic/fanciful/cartoony
2. Decide the style of execution: color photo-illustration/painterly graphical/line; /black & white line/halftone/sketch, etc.
3. Create a work order that describes what and how I will produce the illustrations; give an estimate and timeline. Secure a deposit on the estimated charges.
4. Create illustration 'rough/s' that approximate what I propose to produce; discuss with client and note changes desired, if any.
5. Produce more finished design/s until approval of design and approach is acheived. Produce entire package per established guidelines.
6. Pricing: An estimated price will be established and adhered to. There will be clauses that establish additional fees in the event of changes beyond the agreed production. Depending on length of contract, client may be asked to make milestone payments until project is completed.

Graphics are considered flat or line art and are (usually) more quickly and easily produced. Estimates furnished. A batch of graphics will have a lower unit cost than one or two single items.
